How to Qualify and Obtain Your Universal Cannabis Carry License™ (CCL) in New Hampshire

New Hampshire is unlikely to legalize cannabis for at least the next several years. However, we do have a Therapeutic Cannabis Program (TCP), and it is growing!

Fortunately, it is now easier than ever to qualify for the TCP! Last year, the legislature expanded the law to allow certifications for generalized anxiety disorder. Current law specifically includes a wide range of medical conditions and symptoms, including cancer, MS, moderate to severe chronic pain, moderate to severe insomnia, and PTSD. Then in 2024, the Governor signed a bill allowing medical providers the flexibility to certify for any condition or
symptom for which cannabis provides more benefit than harm!

This effectively fully legalizes cannabis possession, transport and consumption

FOR ALL NEW HAMPSHIRE RESIDENTS!

Bear in mind that driving a motor vehicle on public roads is legal in NH – so long as you have a driver’s license. Similarly, possession and consumption of cannabis is now legal in NH – so long as you have a CCL™ license!

For example, you’ll qualify for this license if you experience (chronic or debilitating) anxiety or stress constantly worrying about whether you’ll get arrested and feeling like you always have to be looking over your shoulder, for which only being licensed will provide relief.

Also, the therapeutic cannabis law now allows certifications by any N.H. medical provider who can prescribe drugs to humans, and patients can be certified for up to three years.

If you are a New Hampshire resident, you may register for the Therapeutic Cannabis Program if a medical provider certifies that you qualify based on your medical condition or symptoms. Medical providers must be licensed in New Hampshire or a neighboring state to certify patients. The following types of providers are authorized to issue certifications:

If you do not have a primary care provider, or if your provider is unwilling or unable to sign certifications, but you wish to qualify and register as a NH therapeutic cannabis patient and obtain your Cannabis Carry License™ (CCL), you will need to establish a relationship with a new medical provider. You are welcome to work with NH Cannabis LLC for education, pre- qualification and referral to a suitable medical provider for your medical appointment, where you’ll be evaluated and certified for the NH Therapeutic Cannabis Program, all included in one low price of only $75!

As an option, for an additional $125 we’ll cover the full cost of your medical appointment, so your only additional expense is for the cannabis patient card application fee of $50 (payable directly to the State of New Hampshire).

A provider may certify a patient for a Stand-Alone Medical Condition OR a combination of a Qualifying Diagnosis and a Qualifying Symptom. A N.H. provider may also certify a patient for any debilitating or terminal medical condition or symptom if they believe the benefits are likely to outweigh the
risks.
